Opportunities To Be Involved

Guys GoofingThe students at Bethel Life school are more than just students in a school. Our community offers a chance for kids and parents to be involved in a number of activities beyond the school day. Organized extracurricular programs are just part of what makes our school special. Promoting fellowship opportunities and lifelong friendships helps to define who we are as a community of believers. Part of our mission is to foster a child's growth in mind, body and spirit. Encouraging healthy relationships allows us to accomplish this goal.

Starting as early as fourth grade, students are invited to participate in a variety of groups that focus on extending learning beyond our classrooms. Below is a list of activities that you can look forward to as a Bethel family.

Robotics Team

Our robotics team is new to Bethel this year. Fourth through eighth graders are invited to be part of this engaging after school activity. Meetings will begin in November and culminate in a local competition in February. Teams will use a Lego Mindstorms kit to design, build and program a robot to complete a given challenge. Another group will work on a summary presentation to be given during competiton. Awards are given for both of these tasks and another will be given for the team with the most team spirit.
